On August 21st, 2025, something truly meaningful unfolded at the Diplomatic Club in Grand Hyatt, Hong Kong—the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between two organizations deeply committed to making a difference: Asia Pacific Humanitarian Emergency Rescue Organization (APHERO) and Philanthropy for Sustainable Education Asia (PSEA).

The two parties will engage in in-depth cooperation across multiple areas, including climate action, disaster education, technology and international collaboration. And strategically stockpile relief supplies at key locations in Asia and establish logistical hubs to ensure rapid distribution during emergencies. Additionally, they will work with local governments to set up community centers where residents can participate in disaster simulations and training drills. Together, these efforts will enhance disaster resilience in the Asia-Pacific region and promote coordinated development in the global humanitarian relief sector.
