APHERO Rescue Drill at The Great Bay Area

On January 15, 2025, the Asia Pacific Humanitarian Emergency Rescue Organization (hereinafter referred to as "APHERO"), in collaboration with China Huawei Security Group, successfully conducted a profoundly significant maritime rescue drill in the Gaolan Port waters of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Leo Wong, the Chairman of APHERO, personally served as the Commanding Officer of the drill to ensure its smooth execution.

The theme of the drill was a sudden emergency on a sea island where personnel were trapped and required immediate rescue.

During the drill, the rescue teams demonstrated a high level of professionalism and teamwork. Whether it was the search and rescue operations on the water surface or the aerial reconnaissance and support, all aspects were tightly connected and executed with seamless coordination. In a tense yet orderly atmosphere, the rescue team members swiftly completed the search, rescue, and transfer of the trapped personnel, successfully achieving the objectives of the drill.

Harry, Chen Tianming, the Vice Chairman of APHERO, conducted a mobilization before the rescue and a summary afterwards. He mentioned that this rescue drill was not only a comprehensive examination of APHERO's emergency response capabilities and combat readiness but also accumulated valuable experience for the collaborative operations between APHERO and its partners, laying a solid foundation for future emergency rescue operations.
