On May 22, 2025, a delegation of Asia Pacific Humanitarian Emergency Rescue Organizations(APHERO) was invited by the Philanthropy for Sustainable Education Asia(PSEA) to attend the BEYOND Expo 2025 Zayed Sustainable Development Forum in Macao. Through thematic forum exchanges, enterprise exhibition area inspections, and other forms, the delegation delved into the empowering role of technological innovation in humanitarian rescue and sustainable development.
The Zayed Sustainable Development Award Forum aims to explore transformative solutions to major global challenges. His Excellency Sheikh Saud Al Muara, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Hong Kong, stated at the forum: "Cooperation between the UAE and China has far exceeded the scope of trade, covering multiple fields such as energy, logistics, financial services, agriculture, tourism, and aerospace. Especially in the area of sustainable development, a solid cooperative relationship has been established between the UAE and China. From iconic solar power plants to wind energy demonstration projects, Chinese partners have played a key role in the UAE's clean energy transformation process.
The delegation also visited other corporate exhibitions. BEYOND Expo (International Science and Technology Innovation Expo) is the largest science and technology innovation expo in Asia, organized by the Macau Science and Technology Association and held annually since 2021. It has become the most influential ecological expo in the field of science and technology innovation in Asia. The 5th exhibition was held at the Venetian Macao Convention and Exhibition Center in 2025, attracting companies from more than 30 countries and regions to participate. The participating companies cover Fortune 500 companies, multinational corporations, unicorn companies, and startups.
